UCC T20 Cup 2013 Updates04/20: Kalvin Cinci vs West Chester CC: Good win over the weekend as Kalvin Cincy beat West Chester CC by 28 runs.
Cincy won the toss and elected to bat. We scored 159 in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets with contributions from Thiag 14(15), Nabil 24(24), Hari 55(35), Ravneet 32(29). In reply WCC were bowled out for 130 in 18.2 overs. Shekhar 3 overs 2/16, Krishna 3.2 overs 3/14, Thiag 3 overs 2/22. 04/14: Kalvin Cinci vs CCI: Kalvin Cincy won by 42 runs. CCI won the toss and elected to field first. Cincy scored 164/4 in 20 overs with contributions from Thiag 31(23), Parikshit 19(18), Prabhu 22(21) Nabil 27*(25) Sandeep 41*(24). In reply CCI lost wickets at regular intervals and could manage 122 in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Cincy batted first and were restricted to 130 in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets with contributions from Thiag 13(16), Ravneet 31(28), Niranjan 18(22),Sandeep 36*(22). CICC chased down the target in 19.4 overs. Scorecard 04/06: Kalvin Cinci vs UC: A good start to the season, as Kalvin Cincy beat UC by 2 runs in a close game. Here is a brief match report: Cinci lost the toss and were put into bat by UC. We scored 137 for 7 in 20 overs with Ravneet 46(38) and Prabhu 30(26) doing bulk of the scoring. UC openers Sumit and Sri started the chase well scoring at good pace.They were comfortably placed and well on their way to win the match with 13 required of last 3 overs and 8 wickets in hand. With the help of some amazing fielding and death bowling from Krishna and Ravneet, Cincy was able to restrict UC to 134 for 8 in 20 overs winning the match by 3 runs. Scorecard |
